Dr. Steven Moody

Dr. Moody is a native Kentuckian born in Monroe County.  He spent his early years on the family farm where his passion for animals began to develop.  After high school he attended Western Kentucky University for undergraduate studies and then attended Auburn University College of Veterinarian Medicine.  During his time at Auburn he began to have a strong interest in surgery and neurology.  After graduation he began a small animal surgery and medicine internship at Metropolitan Veterinary Specialist in Akron, OH.  After the general internship he performed an additional yearlong internship focusing specifically on surgery and neurology.  In 2011 after almost three years working at a busy emergency medicine practice in Indianapolis he moved to his wife’s home town (Louisville) and entered General Medicine. Happy to call Louisville home Dr. Moody enjoys the outdoors and is an avid fisherman.
